THE SHALIGUSTA GOLF CLUB
ABOUT US
The first meeting to discuss forming a club was on Monday, November 15th, 2004 and the official Shaligusta Golf Club was formed Monday, November 29th, 2004 by a group of golfing enthusiasts wishing to promote good sportsmanship and enjoyment for the game of golf at Shalimar Country Club in Tempe, Arizona.
The golf club membership has grown from an initial membership of 25 people to its current level of over 140 active members.
Members can be as young as 10, male or female and any skill level is accepted. We use the USGA handicapping system and encourage any interested parties to join and participate in the club.
Our main goal is to have fun. Playing takes place at the beautiful Shalimar Country Club in Tempe, Arizona. We have 2 tournaments per month. We also hold non-golfing social events in the clubhouse. Please see the events link above for more information on tournaments.
